INTRODUCTION

Organized by Xunlei Limited (hereafter referred to as "Xunlei") and Geekbang, this Event is designed to seek the best talents and projects in the Blockchain space in China and all over the world. The total of prizes is up to RMB 1 million.

By building China's first technical exchange and application development platform for the professional Blockchain, Xunlei is committed to creating a Blockchain-friendly environment to provide better services for technical professionals and end users. This is also why Xunlei launches this Global Challenge.

The competition is composed of a shortlist stage and a final stage, covering competition projects with Blockchain + multiple sectors including public welfare, healthcare, education, game, social contact, transportation, commodity identification, copyright, etc. The submitted projects should include a demo or a complete work for display.

All entries must be built on smart contracts while fully embodying the value and advantage of Blockchain technology and proving that the Blockchain technology is definitely irreplaceable when compared with the solutions based on the traditional technology.

The smart contract projects should feature rational design and complete functional design. Its stable operation is absolutely a guarantee for efficiency and quality. Moreover, it is designed with sufficient safety and protection mechanism.

If entries presents great commercial value, they can be commercialized directly as representatives of industry application for potential profitability.

Compared with those mature solutions in the industry, entries should illustrate innovation and creativity with better performance.

The interactive design should be reasonable so that customers can easily understand and use, thus achieving a better user experience.

ENTRY INFORMATION

  • 1. Each participant group should include no more than five members. Individual participants can team up freely, but every one can only join one group and cannot enter the competition repeatedly.
  • 2. Entries must be completed independently. No cheating or infringement of intellectual property is allowed. Entrants failing in doing so will be disqualified.
  • 3. Before online registration, entrants should download and fill in the Registration Form, which should be uploaded with required attachments. The Organizing Committee will review and confirm within seven working days. Registration Form is a key document for the registration process, so please fill in with accurate information and submit in a timely manner to ensure sufficient time for project development and submission.
  • 4. Entrants can submit 1-3 registration forms based on different projects. After being reviewed by the Organizing Committee, only one project will be selected to enter the competition for further improvement.
  • 5. Before entry submission is closed, entrants can keep improving their works, but cannot change the topic. The final entry should be based on the latest version submitted before the submission deadline.
  • 6. The intellectual property of all entries belongs to submitted teams. The organizers of this Event have the rights to use all the information related to entries and entrants for the subsequent marketing and have the rights to designate and authorize media release, official website browsing and downloading, and exhibitions (including itinerant exhibitions)
  • 7. Entries must be submitted in the prescribed form. Otherwise they will be phased out directly.
  • 8. Anyone belonging to the organizers of the Event and those participating in setting the examination paper cannot take part in the competition.
